Artist Mica Angela Hendricks was in a difficult spot. Her daughter had a penchant for commandeering her art supplies but she desperately wanted to try out a new sketchbook. So she did, and so her daughter asked to use it, as predicted. When Hendricks resisted, her daughter said, “If you can’t share, we might have to take it away if you can’t share.” That’s one smart cookie. “Not surprisingly, I LOVED what she drew,” wrote Hendricks. “She never hesitated in her intent. She wasn’t tentative. She was insistent and confident that she would of course improve any illustration I might have done…And the thing is, she DID.” Take a look at what the mother/daughter duo created.
If you like the look, Hendricks has put some up for sale as prints on Society6.
