Droid 2 Coming to Verizon This Summer-Fall Season; Specs Confirmed

The Summer/Fall 2010 wireless device catalog from Verizon Wireless has just leaked, and we’ve been treated with an unexpected surprise: The Motorola Droid 2, which Verizon has yet to announce, is a centerpiece feature of the document and pegged as “coming soon.”

Specifications include a preinstalled 8GB memory card, 5-megapixel camera, 3G Mobile Hotspot functionality, and a 1GHz CPU.

Other confirmed feature models include the Droid X, Samsung Jest, Samsung Intensity 2, Verizon Wireless Salute, and Samsung Gusto.
