This Video of the DuckTales Reboot Cast Singing the Show’s Theme Is Driving Me Quackers, Let Me Tell You
Stars. Stars everywhere.
As if I wasn’t already before, I am 150% completely hecking SOLD on this brand new DuckTales reboot coming to Disney XD. Why the extra (completely impossible) 50%? Because of this video of the reboot’s voice cast singing the theme song, that’s why.
Oh, but who’s doing the voices you ask? Well, LET ME TELL YOU.
You’ve got…
- Bobby Moynihan as Louie
- Ben Schwartz as Dewey
- Danny Pudi as Huey
- Kate Micucci as Webby
- Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley
- Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack
- and David “Tenth Doctor” freakin’ heckin’ Tennant as Scrooge McDuck!
Even if you weren’t a fan of the original, you have to totally respect and marvel at the star-studded cast they’ve got lined up here. Everybody seems excellently paired, especially with Tennant voicing Scrooge. They are both Scottish, of course, and while I can’t speak to how miserly Tennant might be (I doubt he is), I know the man’s very talented and capable of some incredible range. It will be a real treat, I think, to see him and everybody here bring this legendary show to life.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve already watched that video of them singing the theme song a couple times already.
Yep, sorry, I just did it again. No regrets.
Suddenly Summer 2017 seems so very, very far away. *sigh*
