Stranger Things was the perfect, modern trip back to our childhoods, and that can only mean one thing: we need lots and lots of toys. While both fan versions and Funko Pop have come before, we now have real action figures on the way from McFarlane Toys!
The initial release, reportedly coming in November, is set to feature Eleven and Chief Hopper, with the rest of the cast to follow shortly thereafter (though it’s currently unknown exactly which characters will be included). A preorder listing for the figures on Entertainment Earth has seemingly already disappeared, but you can see in the leaked mockups above that Eleven comes with removable blonde hair and an Eggo waffle, which her figure just wouldn’t be complete without. The image isn’t the best quality, but the mockups look pretty good, and McFarlane Toys does good work, so we have high hopes for how these will turn out.
According to SyfyWire, the removed product listing read: “From the Netflix TV series Stranger Things comes these 7-inch scale action figures! The Stranger Things Action Figures are highly detailed and articulated action figures of iconic characters Eleven and Chief Hopper sculpted from assets taken directly from the series. The figures are in 7-inch scale with 12 points of articulation for dynamic posing and feature show-accurate attires with accessories included. The figures come in a retro-themed packaging. Eleven stands about 5-inches tall, is sculpted from images of actress Millie Bobby Brown, and comes with removable blonde wig, radio, and waffle. Eleven is featured in dress and jacket outfit. Chief Hopper is sculpted from images of actor David Harbour and comes with a removable Sheriff’s hat, pistol, and coffee mug. The figure is featured in sheriff’s outfit worn by Chief Hopper. Both figures feature a stylized Stranger Things-branded display base and are showcased in retro themed packaging.”
Yeah, we’re going to need all of these in our collections.
