Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown Spits Hot Fire, Raps Nicki Minaj’s Verse off “Monster”

Apparently Eleven has another hidden superpower: She can spit hot fire.

I don’t know what it is about people covering Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” verse that drives people so wild (because let’s be honest, Minaj killed it dead the very first time she spit that fire), but I’m willing to hazard a guess that Millie Bobby Brown’s (aka Eleven from Stranger Things) cover might be the best of the covers thus far. She busted out the verse on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as part of a segment called “Stranger Strings With the Kids of Stranger Things.”

The kids of Stranger Things all sat at a round table with Fallon and, well, sprayed silly string on each other. Okay, it was a little more involved than that. Apparently before they show, they had all written down little-known facts about themselves on cards that were shuffled together. They would then read out random cards at the table. Here’s where the string comes in: they would shoot their silly string at the person they thought wrote the card. Seems simple enough, right?

Watching the kids just having a fun time spraying silly string at each other seems just way too perfect. Brown just spent the whole game shooting Fallon with string because sure, why the heck not?

The other big moment during the game came when Fallon asked Finn Wolfhard, who played Mike, if he could read, more than likely forgetting to say “the next card.” Wolfhard replied with a pretty harsh burn: “Can you host?” Then they hugged because of course.

As you can probably guess, Brown’s card read, “I can perfectly rap Nicki Minaj’s verse from ‘Monster.'” Then, after a moment or two, she just straight up busts it out, very graciously censoring herself during the swearing parts.

If nothing else at all interests you out of this video, then at least we’ll always have this GIF of Gaten Matarazzo (aka Dustin) and Caleb McLaughlin (aka Lucas) dancing to Brown’s rapping.

Excellent.
