Grammys 2022
Recommended Videos

Music’s biggest night came and went with its star-studded audience, spectacular performances, and over-the-top red carpet fashion. It’s the Grammy Awards, everybody—which held their 64th edition on April 3rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Trevor Noah hosted the night, which saw the absolute triumph of Silk Sonic (who brought home two of the gramophones out of the four main categories of the night as well as two other awards). And one year after her viral debut, “drivers license” Olivia Rodrigo was crowned Best New Artist. Jon Batiste was awarded Album of the Year for his, “We Are,” and I would like to take a moment to thank Lil Was X’s glam team for the absolutely stunning Balmain suit he wore—it truly deserves its own moment.

Still trying to take this in.

Another highlight of the night was undoubtedly BTS’ show-stopping performance that re-imagined their smash-hit, “Butter,” as a 007-inspired action scene—complete with Jin acting as the mastermind behind it all, Jungkook coming down from the ceiling, and V flirting with Olivia Rodrigo. However, the many ARMYs in attendance—as well as those around the world—were quite disappointed to see the South Korean septet being once again snubbed in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

All in all, it was a packed night—so here’s a list of all the nominees and winners in the main categories of this year’s Grammys. Are you satisfied with who won? Would you have preferred that someone else went home with one of those little golden trophies?

She has considered being in fandom a defining character trait since she was in middle school and wasn't old enough to read the fanfiction she was definitely reading and loves dragons, complex magic systems, unhinged female characters, tragic villains and good queer representation. You’ll find her covering everything genre fiction, especially if it’s fantasy-adjacent and even more especially if it’s about ASOIAF. In this Bangtan Sonyeondan sh*t for life.
