Just in time to be our soundtrack for summer.

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve gotten a new album from Harry Styles. Fine Line dropped in December of 2019, and while his tour for the album just wrapped (I know, I went twice last year), it was mainly delayed because of COVID. Instead of pushing out another album, the former One Direction member waited until the tour was complete to really start hinting about his next album and what it would be about. Today, fans were treated with the knowledge that in less than two months, we’ll have the third Harry Styles studio album in our ears! Here’s what we know so far.

The album will be titled Harry’s House and will be released on May 20th. According to Metro, it’ll have 13 tracks, and, if you ask TikTok, there are about 20 more conspiracy theories about what the songs will be about, the theme of the entire album, and so on and so forth. I don’t blame them, I was watching all the theories roll in the last few weeks, and I’m starting to believe them all. Did Harry Styles fake the moon landing? Sure, he wasn’t born yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a strong possibility!

The picture released with the news shows Harry Styles standing on the ceiling of a simply furnished living room, the entire room flipped upside down. And Harry is standing facing us. With bell-bottom jeans and, what looks like, a babydoll top, Styles looks contemplative. Is it a clue about the theme of the album? Maybe, but more importantly, I now need to go find some bell-bottoms.

Now, if we want to get into my theories, there is a Twitter account titled “You Are Home”—that Harry Styles recently followed!—that leads you to a page called “Youarehome.co” that then leads you to a YouTube video that announces the album name and May 20th release date.

So, how does this all fall into a conspiracy theory? Well, the You Are Home Twitter account has been tweeting out random sentences since March 18th that I think are the song titles for the upcoming album.

So far, there are only 6, and if there are, in fact, 13 new tracks that means that there are 7 we still have to learn about. But Harry Styles’ new look for the album is a pair of flared jeans, a cute top, and seemingly more pastels than we’ve seen from Harry Styles or Fine Line.

What Harry Styles has mastered with his albums is a complete look and change in tone for each of them. They’re unique and different but still are very much a Harry Styles original. With Harry’s House, the vibe seems to be shifting to what we’ve seen Harry wearing more of in recent weeks. So to see how that will play out into the album is going to be incredibly exciting for fans.

Harry’s House is set to release on May 20th and that means we’ll probably have some singles or hints releasing in the next few weeks! It’s a great time to be a fan of Harry Styles and the more we learn about Harry’s House, the more excited we’ll be!
