Overwatch 2 is coming, and I ain’t ready.

You heard me. IT’S COMING. Overwatch 2 releases on October 4th, 2022. Which means only one thing.

I’m gonna be getting my ass kicked a lot.

People are already playing the beta version, and when the Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV Have Been Delayed Until Further Notice”>official version comes out there are gonna be people who start playing at midnight and it will be as if they have already been playing for ten years. I just got kinda good at the old game, and I’m not ready to be bad again. Have mercy. The virtue, not the healer.

At least I’m not a new player, because new players are going to have a bad time. Why makes me say that? Because the good people at Blizzard came up with the clever little idea to make it so that not all of the classic characters are available to players who didn’t play the original game. They’re gonna have to unlock them. How do they do that? By playing like a hundred games. Seriously, Blizzard said that for new players to unlock classic characters they’ll have to play around 100 games to do it. What prompted this asinine decision? I’ll never know.

New characters in Overwatch 2

The good news is we’re getting some new heroes! The former Overwatch commander Sojourn is coming back with some dope new cybernetic enhancements to kick ass on the battlefield. We don’t know exactly what her class and ultimate ability are going to be yet, but I’m gonna guess she’s gonna be DPS focused. But literally what do I know?

The other new character is Junker Queen. We don’t know much about her, except she’s probably gonna be trash-themed like Junk Rat. They might even be related? Or maybe they’re a power couple? Maybe both? At this point I wouldn’t put anything past Junk Rat.
