In the Name of Love! Ewan McGregor to Play Beauty and the Beast‘s Lumiere

Although the cast for Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast assembled for their first read-through last week, a late addition has just been announced: Ewan McGregor will be playing Lumiere to Ian McKellen’s Cogsworth.

Given McGregor’s musical chops, I’m definitely excited to see how he handles “Be Our Guest” (and it’d be great if Lumiere and Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Plumette could get a number of their very own in this remake).
