Season Nine Finale of Doctor Who Going to Be an Extra-Long Episode
The final two episodes of Doctor Who‘s Season Nine are going to be jam-packed with so much Whovian goodness that it won’t be able to be contained in standard-length episodes!
The BBC has confirmed that both the penultimate episode of the season, “Heaven Sent” (airing on November 28th), and the finale, “Hell Bent” (airing December 5), will each run five minutes overtime, making their time slots 8:00-9:05 PM.
We’ve reached out to BBC America to find out whether that will also be the case when the episodes are broadcast here in the States, and we’ll update this post as that info comes in. In the meantime, you now have this heads-up, and you can make sure to set your DVRs accordingly.
