Here’s an interesting look at how the social networking juggernaut Facebook has wormed its way into just about every facet of our waking lives. Not only are the numbers staggering, but the chart takes a look at the potential benefits and downfalls of having something as pervasive as Facebook at your fingertips.
One caveat is that the chart is a big promoter of pruning your profile for the benefit others. While that is absolutely sound advice as far as family and employers go, perhaps sprucing up your profile to make your mate feel more “comfortable” is taking it a bit far. Still, it’s an interesting look at how far we’ve come since Facebook first debuted all those seven years ago.
