It shocked me to the point that I didn’t even reply. I beat this guy 2-0 and instead of a handshake and “good games” it was, “black bitch.” I’m not saying that every player is like this but I think some people need to think before they speak or don’t speak at all. If I was younger I would have probably knocked him the [heck] out but that’s not why I’m there. I’m there to play, to gain the experience. I’m there to learn and I shouldn’t have to worry about being disrespected in that manner.

BurnYourBra, whose regular placement in the top 10 at Street Fighter tournaments has led many to refer to her as the best female player in the United States. (Though she’s very humble about it.) Read the whole interview here.
