Our First Look At Ridley Scott’s Prometheus

It Came From Outer Space

Recommended Videos

Ridley Scott’s long-awaited sci-fi film Prometheus is so close we can touch it. That’s why we’re excited to feast our eyes on these first shots from the film that’s set in Scott’s Alien-verse. Take a look-see for yourself…

Shock Till You Drop scanned the images from the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly, which also has a feature article on the film. Stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Noomi Rapace (Lisbeth Salandar from the international The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), are represented in the photos but Prometheus also stars Guy Pierce and Patrick Wilson.

IMDB describes the film thusly, “A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.”Did you know, Fassbender’s character is an android? Rapace’s character has been likened to Ellen Ripley, what a legacy to try and live up to!

Will we see an Alien aliens? It’s still not clear. Scott previously billed the film as a prequel but has since strayed away from that, although Fassbender went on record saying it still was. Either way, I’m psyched to go back into the director’s sci-fi world. Are you?
