FOX Brings Their Genre “A” Game With Trailers for Minority Report and Lucifer
We're still upset about The Mindy Project, though...
While we’re still stinging from the cancellation of The Mindy Project (do the right thing, Hulu!), we’re thrilled that FOX is bringing us some awesome-looking genre projects!
First up, there’s Lucifer, based on the DC Comics/Vertigo comic about the first fallen angel solving crime. Check out the trailer above!
According to /Film:
Tom Ellis stars as the title character, who is “bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell.” So Lucifer “resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.”
And then there’s Minority Report – which started out as a Phillip K. Dick short story, then became a Tom Cruise flick, and has now made its way to television as a show that’s a follow-up to the film.
/Film describes Minority Report as:
Minority Report is directly connected to the feature film, and is set 10 years after the end of Pre-crime in DC, when one of the three Pre-cogs struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.” The cast features Meagan Good, Stark Sands, Wilmer Valderrama, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li and Zhane Hall.
