The Full Deadpool 2 Trailer Has Everything You Could Hope For
Deadpool 2 has gone through a few oddball teaser trailers so far, in keeping with its protagonist’s style and first installment’s marketing, and the new full trailer has everything you’d expect: X-Force, Dopinder, Domino, Negasonic Teenage Warhead & more surly teens, Cable, brutal fight scenes, humor, fourth wall-breaking jokes about franchises and the studio—and plenty of Mr. Pool himself.
The trailer has also dropped on the heels of news that the movie has received “near perfect” scores in test screenings, surpassing the performance of the original in that regard. It’s definitely got the feel of a sequel that’s bigger in every way sequel after the first movie did so much with so little, and that’s gone wrong for plenty of sequels in the past, but if any property ever had the self-awareness to pull it off, it’s this one.
