Tobey Maguire, Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Possibly Involved in Illegal Gambling Ring

what is this I don't even

This sounds more like a movie than it does something that actually happened, but Tobey Maguire, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Leonardo DiCaprio (among others) have been named for their involvement in an illegal gambling ring. And no, it’s not a revival of Guys and Dolls, either (although how amazing would that be?).

Apparently all this went down behind doors guarded by men in bullet-proof vests (really), at locations such as the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Viper Room. Maguire has already admitted to making $187,000 through the games, although another source reports that it’s more like upwards of $300,000. Either way you could probably pay your way through college with that.

All of this was brought to light through the FBI investigation of Ruderman Capitol Partners CEO Brad Ruderman, who apparently dipped into the company’s cookie jar to cover buy-ins in the game, and created a Ponzi scheme to pay off those debts. Classy.

While Maguire has been named in the lawsuit surrounding all of this, the others apparently don’t have anything to worry about yet. According to another player in their games, “Matt never won” and “Leo is a tight ass.” Claaaaassy.

But this all raises the question: If this were a movie (and you know someone’s already working on the screenplay), who plays the A-listers when all the A-listers are already involved?
