Turns Out the Game of Thrones Theme Is the Perfect Fit for a Western Cover
Westeros ain't big enough for the two of us.
Benedikt Mendzigal of BenDan Productions gets to be an honorary “pardner” of The Mary Sue for arranging and performing this Western version of the Game of Thrones theme, which just… works. I can totally imagine the War of the Five Kings being played out as some sort of Mexican standoff, with Theon Greyjoy standing around in the background wearing a brand new, not-a-scuff-on-it ten-gallon hat and sporting a gun belt with a piece so heavy that it tugs his pants down at the worst possible moment. You know he would. Little dork.
Mendzigal also did a mariachi version of the Battlefield theme; you can check that out behind the cut.
