Give Everyone Scary Books for Halloween, Neil Gaiman Said So

And So It Begins

Recommended Videos

I was the only person I knew who actually looked forward to trick or treating at the giant house of the lady who had a job with Scholastic and gave out books for Halloween, even if I already had that month’s Animorphs book and had to pick something else, and so I am all for Neil Gaiman‘s proposed tradition of All Hallows Read. Gaiman suggests that we would all benefit from a holiday that was specifically about giving books to your loved ones, and why not make it Halloween, to just add to all the scary sugar-fueled goodness.
