Cartoonist Dash Shaw’s first animated feature, the dark comedy My Entire High School Sinking Into the Sea, is now in theaters. You can check out our review here, but to summarize it’s a teen movie crossed with a disaster movie crossed with a remarkable mixed-media approach that makes for one of the most original movies I’ve seen recently.

The film is out in theaters today, so GKIDS is giving away custom mini zines, sticker sheets, and enamel pins, as well as books signed by Shaw like Cosplayers and New School. If you’re a fan or want to see more of his work, this is a great chance to do so! I’m very jealous of whoever gets that tote bag of Maya Rudolph’s character.

We’ll also be giving away tickets to screening at the Metrograph today to Thursday the 20th. The visuals in this film are amazing, so I would definitely recommend seeing it on the big screen if you can! However, since tickets are specifically for those in NYC we’re going to separate this into two giveaways—feel free to enter both if you want the merchandise and the tickets! Remember you have to tweet the following, and follow us on Twitter (so we can DM you)!

For the merch and signed books:

I’m entering @TheMarySue’s #MyEntireHighSchoolSinkingIntotheSea giveaway for some #PrettyFreakedUp merch. https://www.themarysue.com/giveaway-my-entire-high-school/

For the Metrograph screenings from 4/13 through 4/20:

I’m entering @TheMarySue’s#MyEntireHighSchoolSinkingIntotheSea NYC giveaway to #GraduatetotheRoof. https://www.themarysue.com/giveaway-my-entire-high-school/

And apologies to our international readers, but this giveaway is restricted to the U.S. only. Good luck!
