The above video, “Go Right,” posted by YouTube user RockyPlanetesimal and set to “A Wild and Distant Shore” by Michael Nyman, explores oldschool gaming in a way that makes you feel like you did something important with your life, even though all you did was play video games. Though the footage seems to be shot with an actual camera pointed at a screen, rather than some kind of capture device, the effect it creates coupled with the moving music gives the video a dramatic feel that a fancy capture device probably couldn’t have recreated.
