Get Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics Free During the Next Two Days of GOG.com’s Holiday Sale
What says happy holidays better than nuclear winter?
GOG.com is throwing a crazy end of year sale for 2013, and it starts today with the Fallout series being given away for free for the first 48 hours of the sale. The games are available for both Mac and PC, and if you missed these post-apocalyptic role playing games, there’s no reason not to head over to GOG and pick them up.
GOG will also be offering a huge portion of their DRM-free game library at a 50% off discount from now until December 29, so take a minute to browse through their catalog. They’ll also be offering different, additional discounts on classic and indie games on a daily basis, which they’ll announce daily on popular YouTube gaming channels. (That is, if those channels can get around the current YouTube copyright problems.)
As of this writing, we’re having trouble logging in and making purchases on GOG, which is likely due to incredible demand. It’s not every day you get three great games completely free, which is because GOG is losing the rights to the Fallout series at the end of the year. Their loss is our gain.
They’ll also be giving freebies away to registered users throughout the sale and letting their customers vote on which game bundles should get massive 80% discounts. This sale is a brilliant way to get people on board with GOG, and we have to say, it’s working.
