Goodnight, iPad, Goodnight, Nooks [VIDEO]

Our Adorable Past

You may remember warmly the children’s classic, Goodnight, Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd but did you ever wonder what it would sound like if it were updated to reflect today’s world? Wonder no more! Goodnight iPad: a Parody for the next generation was released late last year as a physical book, and of course, ebook. It was written by author “Ann Droyd,” which is really a pseudonym for “an IRA/CBC Children’s Choice winner who has written and illustrated over twenty picture books for young readers.” (The author’s real name is David Milgrim.) It says Goodnight, iPad has a reading level is ages 18 and up but honestly, it makes a lot of sense to read this to your kids before bed. Or, just read it to yourself.
