Google Maps Easter Eggs Lets You Journey To The Center of The TARDIS
Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff
Google Maps already allows us to observe earth from great heights and go anywhere we want in seconds, so it was only a matter of time before the TARDIS got involved. If you search for Earl’s Court Road, one of the locations of an actual, blue police call box in London, you can not only admire the outside of the police box, but also enter the TARDIS control room. For proof that it really is bigger on the inside, head past the break for photos of the interior, and check out the Easter egg for yourself at Google Maps (click on the double arrow pointing up toward the TARDIS). You can explore the entire control room and zoom in on an amazing number of switches and other design features. Plus, take a look at some helpful reviews from TARDIS visitors.
