Google Done F@#$ed Up, Autocorrect Doesn’t Believe Women Can Teach Themselves Calculus

TED.com editor Emily McManus tweeted a pretty disturbing screengrab this morning. After searching Google for “english major who taught herself calculus” Google stupidly asked, “Did you mean: english major who taught himself calculus?”

It’s not photoshop job either, I just duplicated the result for myself:

My in-browser spellcheck built into Chrome even highlighted “herself” as being incorrect.
