Goosebumps Trailer Features Strong Jumanji Vibes, Violent Gnomes

It’s been nearly a year since we first saw images of Jack Black as R.L. Stine in the Goosebumps movie, but now the trailer has finally arrived in all its mantis-filled glory.

Going off the brief (and obviously out of context) footage showcased in the trailer, I’m nervous that the movie’s lone female main character might not be given her due, but at least Goosebumps seems to have the necessary camp and self-awareness to pull off its premise.
