Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has a title, a script, a cast (mostly), and now it has behind-the-scenes images courtesy of writer/director James Gunn.

Gunn’s been on a social media tear lately with tidbits about his upcoming Marvel sequel, but there’s a lot we still don’t know about the movie. We do know that this group of people sounds like a lot of fun to work with:

As far as what else we’ve learned outside of seeing the cast on set, James Gunn probably has the most creative freedom out of anyone working on a Marvel movie:

Star Lord’s father has indeed been cast (and another bit of relevant info on the character):

And of course, the most important question: “How does Sean Gunn’s involvement affect the Gilmore Girls revival?”

Oh, and he knows what goes down in Infinity War by the way, in case you needed more reason to be jealous of those on the inside at Marvel. With shooting beginning this month, we’re probably in for a lot more GotG2 goodness in the near future as the sequel’s May 5, 2017 release approaches.
