Watch the Lip Sync Battle Between Clark Gregg’s “Toxic” and Hayley Atwell’s “Bad Romance”

Recommended Videos

Last night, Clark Gregg and Hayley Atwell’s Lip Sync Battle aired, and it was glorious. The two answered some questions and trash-talked each other on the preshow, or tried to. Gregg’s “the more beautiful amazing and talented they are the harder they fall!” wasn’t quite as mean as he meant it to be in comparison to Atwell’s “I’m the mop, you’re the floor.”

We saw a preview of Atwell’s perfomance of Offspring’s “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy),” but it seemed little tame in comparison to Gregg’s rendition of “Toxic.” Of course, that’s not a really fair comparison since Lip Sync Battle has two numbers and the typical format is usually one in regular dress and another in full costume and effects (with some exceptions). As a result, I was fully expecting her second number to bring it, which she absolutely did for Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” egg pods and all. The full “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)” number along with Gregg’s other performance of Wreckx-N-Effect’s “Rump Shaker” aren’t on Youtube but you can catch the full episode on Spike.

We were also speculating that Gregg and Atwell might bring out some special guests (since Channing Tatum brought out freakin’ BEYONCE), and guests there were! Gregg enlisted his wife Jennifer Grey for his performance of “Toxic,” where she played passenger to Gregg’s flight attendant. Gregg took home the championship belt, and was a very gracious winner. How do you think they did?
