See Harry Potter Reimagined as a Totally Rad ’90s Sitcom

Something wicked awesome this way comes.

Have you ever wondered what the Harry Potter films would look like if they were released as a ‘90s sitcom? Well, look no further. The kooky kids over at Comedy Central UK put some footage through a trusty filter, added cheesy, decade appropriate music and created a masterpiece. No, this isn’t styled after a specific show but, if you’ve ever seen a sitcom from that decade, you’d know they used everything that made a ‘90s sitcom what it is.

While this does follow the timeline more accurately, I shudder to think what the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets would look like if it the movie had come out just six years earlier. Still, this accurate reimagining is wildly amusing and the perfect remedy for a late morning giggle.

If you’re still yearning for more Harry Potter, The Cursed Child is currently in stores everywhere. Just remember that it’s a screenplay and not an actual novel. Plus, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them heads to theaters in a few months (November 18 to be exact).

Wands up, there’s still life left in J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world.
