Things We Saw Today: Let’s Make This Hellboy Wedding Happen!
Plus Evangeline Lilly and more!
Oh look, here’s something not terrible! David Harbour (Stranger Things), who stars as Hellboy in the upcoming series reboot, issued a retweet challenge request to his followers, and Spencer Perry took him up on his offer. The request? That Harbour officiate his upcoming wedding in full Hellboy costume.
David, you may remember we met last year on the set of Hellboy (I was the one with the BPRD tattoo that was literally days old). I’m getting married in March to @carlylane, how many RTs for you to officiate as Hellboy.

Harbour agreed to the challenge with the following response:
666k
Of this tweet.
Big Red officiates. Full Gear. In his saintly best.
Impossible number?
Think of how difficult it will be for me to get this character ordained by a Christian church😈🙄
(P.S. – I’ll knock off 500k if you can get @artofmmignola to read a poem at the service) https://t.co/cnzHrcnsOo— David Harbour (@DavidKHarbour) October 6, 2018
While 666k retweets may seem like a tall order, Mike Mignola has already pitched in to read a poem at the wedding, as long as it is written by Harbour himself. That means the happy couple only needs around 160k more retweets to make their Hellboy-officiated wedding a reality. And if you needed any more incentive to retweet, the bride is none other than former TMS writer and all around great geek gal Carly Lane!
RT Harbour’s tweet below to help a girl’s wedding? (It me, it totally me, I am the Hellboy wedding bride.) 166k retweets is, like, no sweat for the power of Twitter. I BELIEVE IN US. 💜😈 https://t.co/YHjb1yD6go
