Fun For The Whole Family At Hezbollah Land? Hezbollah Opens Terrorist Theme Park
The outdoor museum, as it may be more accurately called, is technically named “Museum for Resistance Tourism,” but Hezbollah Land is the name that has actually stuck. Much like any good trip to Epcot Center at Disney world, the experience at Hezbollah land begins with a couple gimmicky historical films. But unlike anything you’d see at a Disney park, these videos aren’t very kind to Jews. (There’s bitter sarcasm laced in there somewhere, see if you can find it.) There’s also an aerial tram ride to mimic the Disney experience more fully. In addition to that, there are many military exhibits including The Abyss (oooOOOooo!!!) where you can see the remains and rubble of destroyed Israeli tanks (ooo retracted).
ABC News toured the facility, and tour guide Rami had this to say about future expansion of the museum:
“We’re going to build motels, playgrounds, camping areas, even spas or swimming pools so that all of the visitors — especially our people — can come here and spend their weekends or vacations, no need to worry about heavy financial duties.”
Yes even children can have fun frolicking on a trip to Hezbollah Land, as seen in the video below.
But how does Hezbollah justify such a pure propaganda move? Again, from Rami, when asked if the exhibit furthers terrorist propaganda: “I believe it’s our right to have our own propaganda. The important thing is that this is the sincere and true propaganda.” So, basically “Yes.”
So if you’re looking for a fun time in Lebanon and the sun is shining bright, just take a hike up to Hezbollah Land while you still can. Because remember, those ruins won’t stay ruined forever!
