House Of Cards Against Humanity Is Now A Real, Officially Licensed Thing
"I can't believe Netflix is using _________ to promote House of Cards."
Do you like playing Cards Against Humanity, but wish it came with more “power, politics, and passive-aggressive handjobs?” Have we got the expansion pack for you. Well, okay, we don’t, but the people who made Cards Against Humanity do.
In order to promote the upcoming second season of House of Cards, Cards Against Humanity teamed up with Netflix to create a series of HoC (that’s how the kids abbreviate it, right?) themed white and black cards to throw into your deck. They explain on their website:
Last month, someone in the Netflix marketing department had an epiphany: House of Cards and Cards Against Humanity both contain the word “cards.” When we got a phone call from Netflix, we enthusiastically agreed that the two products indeed contain the word “cards.”
As is the Cards Against Humanity way, they’ve made the cards available to download and print, or you can request that they mail you a nicely printed set if you live in the U.S. or Canada. We’re sure supplies have got to be limited, though, so you should probably do that sooner rather than later. Heck, I don’t even own a deck of Cards Against Humanity cards to add these too, and I still want them because they’re wonderful.
