Say what you want about professional sports and whether or not watching people kick a ball at each other is actually compelling, but the theories, strategies, and human stories that make up most sports coverage have certainly captured the attention of many a fan. Mike Rugnetta of PBS Idea Channel thinks that competitive gaming might have a shot at becoming a spectator sport, too — when it figures out how to tap into that same kind of narrative.
