Some of the changes aren’t all that big — “Great Salt Lake City” vs. “Salt Lake City” isn’t earth-shaking, nor is Nouvelle-Orléans vs. New Orleans — but it’s tough to imagine Microsoft setting up shop in Dewamps, Washington, or the San Antonio Spurs if their home base was called Yanaguana.
