This Interactive Star Wars Map Lets You Explore A Far, Far Away Fictional Galaxy

Recommended Videos

Design agency nlcud has put together an interactive, virtual recreation of the Star Wars universe that you can navigate from the comfort of your own web browser. Unlike past attempts to recreate the planets of Star Wars in map form, this one theoretically lets you jump from planet to planet with three-dimensional ease, rather than scrolling around on a flat, two-dimensional map of the solar system.

It does seem like a lot of intergalactic smugglers may be attempting to use the client, though, since it ran a little slow for me … or perhaps I just need to update my ship’s navigation computer. It seems to work a bit better with the music turned off, but I still couldn’t find all the planets. Let me know whether they left in Alderaan!
