Watch the Jamaican Bobsled Team’s Weird 8-Bit Music Video Because Real Life Is Now Cool Runnings

Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme!

Were you upset after watching Cool Runnings to find out that the movie took massive liberties and was only really based on a true story in the sense that, yes, Jamaica had an unlikely bobsled team ? Don’t worry, this year’s Jamaican bobsled team has you covered, and they’ve even got their own weird bobsled song complete with its own 8-bit music video, so you can live out all of your Cool Runnings dreams.

Because their Olympic crowdfunding campaign that involved Dogecoin just wasn’t bizarre enough.

Even better: the end of the video says that the song syncs up to the course if you press play at the start of a run. Bobsled heats started yesterday, but the event will go on for the next couple of days, so you’ve got plenty of time to mute your TV and give every bobsled team a Jamaican theme.

To make sure you don’t miss any more awesome stuff coming from the Jamaican bobsled team, you can follow them on Twitter @Jambobsled, where they’re tweeting with the hashtag #CoolRunnings. This is real life.
