Artist James Hance took it upon himself recently to paint a portrait of each member of the crew of the Serenity during a single twenty-four hour period, and succeeded. Even more impressively, he’ll be donating each original painting to Firefly themed charity group Can’t Stop the Serenity, for their annual auction to benefit Equality Now.
Prints will be available for anybody unable to get their hands on the originals, with a portion of the proceeds also going to Equality Now, so come on in and take a look at the rest of them. You can also check out a bunch of in progress pictures at his tumblr, using the Firefly tag.
