James McAvoy at the Vanity Fair Oscars party

If you were like me, you were probably charmed by James McAvoy going around the Oscars after parties and having celebrities sign his shirt. The Glass actor found a red sharpie while on the dance floor and decided to have all our favorite celebrities document their time on his shirt.

Now, if he got Sir Patrick Stewart to write “H.A.G.S.” on it, that would have been the high school memorabilia of my dreams! Still, many of us on Twitter were amazed by James and his “fanboy” antics at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party.

Now, McAvoy is doing something with those charming antics. While it may have been just on a whim that he had all these celebrities sign the shirt, he’s now auctioning the shirt off to fans and donating the proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House in New York!

Ronald McDonald House helps to improve the lives of children battling cancer. From bringing their favorite superheroes in to see them to giving them adventures and fun activities, it’s a beautiful charity that does wonderful things for these children. McAvoy donating the money from his shirt shows the dedication that many in Hollywood have to the Ronald McDonald House and their willingness to help with the fight against childhood cancer.

If you’re still on the fence about whether or not to put in for it, there is a new incentive for fans of the X-Men actor…

For your chance to win the shirt and help some kids, you can donate anywhere from $10 (for 100 entries) up to whatever your heart desires. The lucky winner takes home the now-famed Oscars shirt—signed by so many of our favorite celebrities, from Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy to Lana Condor, Jason Momoa, Michael B. Jordan, and more—and the money goes to the Ronald McDonald House, so it’s a win-win for everyone! You can find out more details at prizeo.com!
