This Japanese Ghostbusters Music Video Is What the Inside of My Head Looks Like All the Time

Recommended Videos

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on inside the head of your average TMS editor, then look no further.

This Japanese Ghostbusters music video has everything you could ever want: awesome Japanese comediennes, clips from the movie, and the classic Ghostbusters theme song, not that Fall Out Boy/Missy Elliott one from last week. This cover features Japanese comediennes Tomochika, Oniyakko Tsubaki, Naomi Watanabe and Shizuyo Yamasaki all dancing their hearts out with their proton packs and jumpsuits. Honestly, they’re having a blast, and who can fault them for that? Nobody, that’s who.

The inside of my head, if you’re wondering, really is just a black void filled with neon figures, the Ghostbusters logo, and covers of old 80s theme songs. Like, if I were in Inception, we wouldn’t be running around downtown Los Angeles or a fancy hotel, oh, no, no, no. We’d be running from ghosts in what could probably pass for 1980s Times Square with all the sketchy neon.

Anyway, you should watch the video. Again, if you’ve already seen it. It’s just that good.
