Pop quiz, hot shot. You’re at a Japanese zoo. An earthquake hits, and a gorilla escapes. What do you do? What do you do? It’s not exactly the kind of situation you want to be unprepared for. That’s why zoo officials threw a gorilla suit on one of their employees and then tried to catch the “gorilla” with nets.
This, apparently, is officially “a thing” at Japanese zoos. They did it last year with a person in a zebra outfit, and we have the video of that as well.

- They did the same thing last year with a zebra costume
- A British zoo has cut bananas from monkeys’ diets because they’re basically cake
- Dogs align their bodies with the Earth’s magnetic field to poop
