And the LEGO train just keeps on chuggin'.

It seems Warner Bros. cannot get enough LEGO. After the huge success of The Lego Movie, Warner Bros. announced that they have a LEGO spin-off movie in development! Called Billion Brick Race, it’s going to be co-written and co-directed by Jason Segel (The Muppets) and Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3) and produced by LEGO Movie producers Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Dan Lin and Roy Lee.

Warner Bros. is taking this on in addition to their LEGO Ninjago movie set for release in 2016, a LEGO Batman spin-off for 2017, and The LEGO Movie Sequel in 2018. Who would’ve thought that little plastic bricks could lead to such an extensive film franchise?

As Billion Brick Race is still in development, there are no details to report yet. What sort of LEGO-ish plot do you see for a movie titled Billion Brick Race? Have fun speculating in the comments below!
