This is why my wizards and sorcerers use all their 0th level spell slots for Mage Hand on their off days.

Since I don’t have a lot of confidence in people understanding that reference, lets just say that this is how telekinetics would actually go about their day to day, whether or not they had a lightsaber in their knife block and NPR updates on the Galactic Civil War streaming from their internet radio.

Okay, my spellcasters also use them for Prestidigitation.
