Jessica Lange Will Be Back to American Horror Story – It’s Just a Matter of When

Recommended Videos

For those of you who were concerned that the best part of American Horror Story was gone once Jessica Lange departed the show in Freak Show, fear not! According to show creator, Ryan Murphy, she has not departed permanently!

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Murphy (who’s producing the 2016 spring revival of Long Day’s Journey Into Night in which Lange will star on Broadway) revealed that it’s a mere matter of schedule and story:

I’ve been talking to her. It’s always possible. I’m trying to deal with her play schedule. Jessica is always about the character. She’ll be back—she’s not gone forever. But that’s the fun and fresh thing about the show: sometimes somebody has to go away before you realize how much you miss them. She wants to come back we just have to come up with something.

So, it’s unclear as to whether they found some time to include her in Hotel, or if she’ll be in the next installment. However, since Hotel takes place in Los Angeles only a few years after the first season, it’s possible that Lange’s character from AHS: Murder House could make an appearance.

What do you think? Would you like to see Lange back as Constance Langdon? Or would you rather see her as a new character in a new season? Let us know in the comments!
