We know creator Joss Whedon isn’t a stranger to musicals. He made Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog during the Writers Guild of America strike, as well as the musical episode of his series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But Whedon himself hasn’t been caught singing (at least in public)…until now. In a live episode of This American Life, Whedon bravely took the stage to not only sing but play the piano to give us a rendition of a song from Commentary! The Musical, the commentary track from Dr. Horrible. I don’t think he’d make it past the auditions on American Idol but he’s not so bad and he does have is his trademark humor and a lot of heart.
