Kadi, Another Cat Documentary to Add to Your Ever-Growing List of Cat Documentaries
What? No, I'm not talking about anyone in particular. Not at all.
Stray cats are apparently part of everyday life in Istanbul, and thanks to Kedi, a documentary about those cats, we get to see just how important they are to the people of that great city.
A trailer, the style of which can only be described as Jiro Dreams of Sushi but cats, landed today showcasing the seven cat subjects. They are (yes, of course they have names and even personality archetypes) Sari, the hustler; Bengü, the lover; Psikopat, the psycho; Deniz, the social butterfly; Aslan Parçasi, the hunter; Duman, the gentleman; and Gamsiz, the player.
Really, one only need to look at each of their nicknames to figure out just what each cat is about.
And on the same note, one only need look at the “cats” search result for our site to know what we here at The Mary Sue are about. We don’t play.
Anyway, if you can’t wait to see Kedi, remember that you can always turn to Netflix’s immense library of cat documentaries and cat videos. Might I recommend Lion in Your Living Room? It’s excellent.
