Kesha About to Head Out on Appropriately Named Music Tour, First Since Lawsuit With Dr. Luke Began

Recommended Videos

You can’t keep Kesha down. Even though her sexual assault case against Dr. Luke continues to develop, Kesha seems to have moved on musically, and is now embarking on a North American music tour. Dubbed the “Fuck the World” tour, it kicks off this Saturday in Las Vegas, and consists of 17 shows peppered throughout both the U.S. and Canada. She isn’t alone in her venture; she’s joined by a band called The Creepies, and they both seem to be really doubling down on the creepy/spooky angle.

As Kesha wrote in the Instagram post announcing the tour, she’s exploring new genres of music. She wrote, “This project and upcoming tour comes from my deep eternal love of dirty rock & roll and country music… So, for a short ride and in mostly small intimate venues, I will be performing a new creepy creation. It’s been too long.”

Kesha hasn’t been out of the music game completely during her entire ordeal. She came on stage at Coachella during Zedd’s set to provide vocals for his song, “True Colors.” They also joined forces later to record a studio version of the song.

It’s great that Kesha still has the energy and willingness to tour. Her skills as a musician were once overshadowed by the sugary pop persona; now, she’s got a real chance to show what else she’s got up her sleeve. You go, Kesha. Do what you do best.
