Key and Peele Gift the Perfect Names to Shelter Cats
Mr. Higgabonton Crumplier III. Fluffytail Whiskerface. Tuna Catserol.
RTHC Ep. 13 – Key & Peele from Tree House Humane Society on Vimeo.
To promote their new cat action movie Keanu, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele visited a few cat adoption centers. But they didn’t just hang out with some cats. No, no, that’s too simple for Key and Peele. Instead, they helped promote cat adoption, highlighting a few cats with some excellently chosen names, bestowed upon them by Key and Peele themselves. Fans of their comedy show on Comedy Central might recognize the bit as a riff on their East/West College Bowl sketch where they introduced themselves ESPN pre-game style with names that just get more and more ridiculous.
If I had to choose just one to adopt? Fluffytail Whiskerface, of course. Just look at that fluff. So perfect. So smol. In addition to getting some cats all but fully adopted, they promoted the Tree House Humane Society’s fundraiser, which aims to fund the construction of the country’s largest cat house. If you want to donate and help these perfectly-named kitties find a brand new home, then you should absolutely head over to the fundraiser page and donate. Or, if you’d rather watch more kitty videos, then you should check out more episodes of the Real Tree House Cats show over on Vimeo. I’m assuming that’s a riff on the Real Housewives of Wherever show that everyone seems to love, which makes perfect sense for these kitties. I’d watch a reality show about cats all day every day I am not even joking, friend.
You can check out some of my own favorite kitty names from the video below:
