Kristen Wiig Will Be Young Lucille Bluth In Season Four of Arrested Development
Good News Everyone!
Fans of hilarity, we have some good news for you: Kristen Wiig is set to guest star in the fourth season of Arrested Development as the younger version of Bluth clan matriarch Lucille (Jessica Walter), Goddess of Bitter Snark.
The 13 episodes of the season will premiere all at once on Netflix in May, and each episode will follow a single character (a leaked list of episode titles reveals that Lucille gets one episode all to herself), with other characters from the Bluth clan occasionally popping up in each others’ episodes. Add that to the flashbacks we’re getting, and you have quite a unique structure (Jason Bateman has said that season four will be “extremely complicated for the viewers”).
Seth Rogen was announced as a guest star at the same time Wiig was—maybe he’ll play a young George Sr? Previously added as guest stars are John Slattery, Ben Schwartz, Chris Diamantopoulos, Conan O’Brien, Andy Richter, Isla Fisher, and Terry Crews.
