Hello, Yes We Would Like to Live in Lando’s Incredible Closet From Han Solo Movie Pics

Recommended Videos

Listen, we all know that Lando Calrissian is a man of questionable morals but unquestionable fashion sense. His cape game was even stronger than Darth Vader’s, and that’s saying something—and probably part of why Vader backstabbed him. (It’s my headcanon, and I’m sticking to it.) From the looks of behind-the-scenes images from the Han Solo movie, his upcoming appearance will not disappoint.

Ron Howard, now in the director’s chair, has started releasing some teasing images as shooting winds down on the film, providing a look at what appears to be Chewbacca and a Wookiee who may be his wife, Mallatobuck. He followed that up with a tiny, tantalizing glimpse of Donald Glover finally bringing Lando back to the big screen after The Force Awakens came and went without an appearance by the original trilogy character.

Here he is, in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, which you may remember as the ship he lost to Han Solo while gambling:

Maybe that’s why he looks so bummed out in the second pic? It has to hurt to lose that ship. He may not be wearing a cape, but that bright yellow shirt is pretty bold on its own for the Star Wars universe, and by the looks of the closet Howard teased last week, there’s plenty more where it came from:

Yeah, we’re going to need to see every single one of these spectacular outfits on-screen, and not just because we want as much of Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian in our lives as possible.
