Drawing pokémon either from your shadowy childhood memories of their design, or through vague description from others, is one of my favorite artist memes. Whatever else you want to say about Pokémon as a franchise, the variety of design is one that lends its self to really interesting reinterpretations. Also really hilarious ones.
