Happy Hobbit Day!

Surely now is a great time to be a Lord of the Rings fan, a time when the movies are a household name. But there was a time when the books were a cult phenomenon in the U.S., when Frodo Lives! was a slogan of the hippie movement and scrawled across buildings as graffiti. While there’s something undeniably romantic about a nerd bastion like The Lord of the Rings worming itself into culture at that level, well, it was also the environment that created this video.
